2015 WSOA Student Council elected

The new Student Council has been elected to represent WSOA students for 2015.  Led by Chairperson Lehlohonolo Mmeti, with Vice Chairperson Fumani Mabogoane, and Secretary General Gontse Mathabathe, the council has already initiated a survey of student resource centre usage and is busy organising a student music concert against xenophobia.  We look forward to activist leadership from the new student council at a time when issues of transformation are at the top of the university...


A CALL FOR PROPOSALS: DRAMA FOR LIFE South African Theatre Season at the State Theatre Drama for Life will be presenting a season of solo works at the State Theatre in June. The season, under the curatorship of Drama for Life, is a window into new South African works that explore notions of identity through memory, story, movement and gesture, and ritual. Drama for Life is calling for proposals for one new or re-worked solo production to be selected to be part of the season. The call is open to all artists.
